With this paiting I was trying to capture the emotions I felt when I met my children for the very first time. That overwhelming feeling of joy, mixed with dreams, wonder, thankfulness and the little spots of uncertainty, fear, can-I-do-this, then back to contentment and awe. A mixture of overwhelming feelings. Carefully trying to contain it somehow.

Refund/Cancellation policy: Due to the original and handmade nature of all paintings, all sales are final. I have done my best to capture accurate colours, but hues may vary from screen to screen. However, if your painting arrives damaged please email me within 48 hours of delivery, including a photo of the painting, and I will do my best to resolve the issue.

Shipping: UK orders are ready to ship within 2 bussiness days. Please allow 2-3 bussiness days after you've receive notice of shipping.

International orders: Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery for orders outside the UK. This is just an estimate and will differ from country to country. All paintings larger than 12" x 12" will be removed from stretcher bars and ship rolled in a tube. Please note that most of the transit time is due to items being held in the receiving countries customs. Susan Bence Art reserves the right to cancel and refund an order due to the difficulty of shipping an item to certain countries. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Taxes and Duties:

Buyers outside the UK are responsible for relevant duty and tax as charged when importing art to their country.
